First time in my life I fished on ice in November. Last season was November-March. I ice fished in parts of 5 months in Ohio. It was awesome! ! We won't get November this year, but I'm going for 4 months anyway! 
Yeah, the last 2 winters have been crazy. I moved to Ohio 3 years ago thinking it would be milder winters than what Im used to and the last 2 winters have been almost like a normal winter in Wisconsin or Minnesota.
It was always kind of funny though when my coworkers would be like, "its sooooo cold!" and Id shrug my shoulders and be like, "I dunno...this is like, normal for me."
