The taxes have been filed and Ive got the ok to to buy a new shanty and gas auger. First the shanty. I want a 1 man flip over. I think I want the Clam Pro TC. I am worried about the quality. Ive heard that clam has had some serious quality issues the last few years. The other shanty I would  like is the Frabill Pro flip over. The only downside is the Frabill is 46 more lbs then the Clam. For the Auger Im thinking about a Jiffy. Not sure which model yet. I would like to hear all of your thoughts and ideas on the shantys and augers. Its a big purchase and I want to be happy with what I buy and not kick my self in the butt for wasting money.

Most guys with the 1-man Frabill are saying: "Make sure your shanty has a zippered door".

Some Frabil 1-man models don't and it's a big disappointment in functionality and heat-loss in not having one.

I have a new clam 2 man just about all of the bolts broke off. I replaced them with stainless steel. other than that the quality is good.

as for the auger I have a Eskimo 43cc mako 8" and its a beast. I think the stingray would be plenty big enough for Ohio
