By the apartments where the ducks and geese kept the lake from freezing its three day old clear. The rest is 3 1/2 with one inch clear. If it snows this side could be VERY DANGEROUS!!! 1/4 of it was fresh ice! The other side behind the Stow courthouse. 4" of ice 2 clear and 2 of dense white ice. Marked a TON of sniffers!!! Caught about 30 between two of us including a decent ice bass. About 25% were crappies. 8 feet deep just off bottom. Best color was a simple red. This lake is private.
