Fished old state park from noon till 4. Lots water near shore but didn’t have a problem going out next to the boat house. first 3†of water on top of some sagging ice might have been touching bottom since it was so shallow. The ice after I got out was great over all 6-8†clear i did find some soft areas down towards the tree in the channel everyone fishes. The ice was much better away from the tree area. Caught some perch 4-7†and a few gills. On a gold tungsten jig tipped with maggots. The fish were very picky about how they would take the bait today. Can’t get the pictures to post.
