I'll be buying some this year I think. Last year with putting up and taking down the shelter, the footing became an issue a couple of times.

get some #10 x 5/8 hex head sheet metal screws at the hardware store for a couple bux. screw them into the cleats of your boots. can't forget them. if they fall out, just screw in another. just be sure to change boots before you stop in to eat at a place with hardwoodfloors ;). i'll post pics of mine later. pig puncher

Nice Pics. That does not ruin the boots? How far do you screw them in?

just get screws shorter than the cleats in your boots and you'll be ok. those boots are for ice fishing only anyway.

I like the ones made by H.T. Enterprises. They are a rubber, pull on type. Not a real aggressive cleat but will by any means, keep ya upright ::). As the old saying goes; any is better than none !!! I pick mine up at Wallyworld at the end of the season closeouts for about 2 bucks a pair, normally sell for 7.99/pr. I wear a size 12 boot and get the xxl ones, they're a little hard getting on at first, but they stay on. Mike
ps, pray for ice, can't wait myself.

I like the idea of the sheet metal screws. I will definitely try them this year on a pair ice fishing boots.
