Tried to go today.....
on:

Tried to fish a pond I know today. Ice was slush under the snow, spud went right thru. So went to another pond and tried there. Fared a little better, 1-2 inches of good clear ice. Could stand on the edge, but spider cracks all over from under my feet. Spud went thru with 2 soft hits. So I decided to give it one more day. There are some 17 inch crappies in there, along with bluegills over 11 inches, so I was going to try tomorrow, but something came up and I don't think it's going to happen,
:'(bought bait for nothing. But if I can get away for half hour or so I'll keep you all posted.

I like that too!
I'll be careful. IF I can go, my dad will be with me. We've got something to do for family this morning, so not sure I'll even be able to try.
