talked with a friend of mine christmas day and he had 6 inches of snow in lamesa texas and i didn't even have a dusting in ashtabula kinda sad and now today i seen this on msn.com

Heard that too.  Over 20 inches of snow in Texas and under 5 here.  What's up with that.  I'll take no snow, less to drag the shanty thru, but I want ice!!!!!!!!
