I make these jigs and little ice flies for panfish, crappies, and perch.  They've been dynamite last 2 years.  Won the crappie online tournaments with the jigs in the bottom pic.  It's pretty much all I use for crappie anymore.  What do you all think?  Any ideas for improvement?  Sorry the last pic is bad.

We'll be trying it soon enough.  I've made and bought some more jigs myself that I can't wait to tryout myself.  The ice will come.  This season may be shorter than some, but many times the shorter seasons are our most productive ones.

They all look good. How heavy are the jigs on the bottom and what size hooks are they?

The ones in the pic are 1/32 ounce.  Although I also make some 1/16 ounce.  Hook size varies.  I think I put a size 10 in the 1/32 and a size 8 in the 1/16.  The hooks are the blood red series.  Colors vary, as I hand make each jig, with custom powder paint and hand drawn designs.  I then tie in a small flashabou tail.  The tail colors change as well.  I can make whatever color combos anybody wants.  My 2 best are green head/chartruce, and, red head/white.  I also use 3d eyes and finish up with a 2-step clear coat.

I make alot of my own ice jigs as well. We may have to swap a few jigs on the ice if we ever get any.
