I just recieved a "care" package from 13 Fishing!! I got the Black Betty reel AND a 25" light action WICKED rod. This is NOT the rod that comes with the Black Betty combo, but their top of the line carbon rod with carbon reel seat and split grip design! Top quality guides and blank thru handle design!!  Just took it out of my freezer and no problems!! Guys, I think you are going to want this equipment!! It will be great for pannies and no more line twist!! It's much better than trying to use a fly fishing reel for ice fishing!! You owe it to yourself to check it out!! You snooze, you lose!!! ;D NEED ICE!!!! ::)

I check the site several times a day, even in summer!! I spend alot more time on IS due to the fact that it is ice belt wide and beyond!! That's where I heard about this!! ;)

You can't as far as I know! You'll have to wait until the products are avaiable in stores and online sites! I got one for evaluation purposes to help get the word out ;) I want to check out the Clam Dave Getz Spooler when it comes out! Couldn't get the to send me one for a comparison. :( I think the Spooler will be a pretty good reel also!! Time will tell!!! ;)
