wish I could say ice was good enough to walk on, but the safest ice I could find was off the end of a dock. No need for the auger , just a spud bar with a few taps was enough to get me a hole.The ice was so bad I wouldn't let the dog on it ,let alone my 220lb butt. Gonna check Thursday and if my pond is good Indian Lake is my next venture out. Be safe as this is the season or time of year most who get wet are the careless fools who dont check the ice for themselves and think 2 days of freezing makes good ice.
