Well tonight was the last of this warm stuff. As of tomorrow morning we will be making ice slowly this week, and next week we will be in the teens and twenties. Too bad this warm spell messed the season up pretty badly, but there will be ice soon enough.

i think we will have some more ice time, but its getting really close to the turbulant spring weather so knowing how screwy the weather is lately, ??? im already prepping my boat....
the time you spend fishing cannot be deducted from your life...

I agree with bouh of you.  I'm looking forward to our 2 tournaments, although I can't make Mosquito unless it's moved.  And I just started re-loading the bass boat.  Want to be safe and prepared etiher way! ;D

I hear u all. im getn my boat ready also but in the mean time im ready and waitn 4 the hard water. by mid next week we should b back on ponds and hopefully by the end of the month we will b ready for the tournaments. Im so lookn forward to getn to berlin and meetn u all and slammin the eyes. with some panfish along the way. r the tournaments catch and release or keepn the fish just woundern havent been to any yet been busy workn weekends ?
When in doubt test it out.  No ice is safe ice. becareful out there.

The tourneys are catch and release into a pan of hot oil.  ;D. When you catch a fish just throw it into your bucket to keep it from freezing as much as it would if it was directly on the ice. After the weigh in if you dont want to clean your fish there is normally a few guys willing to take unwanted fish so no fish will go unused.
