Over the years I have been faced with the question of moving off of small fish in hopes of finding some better quality. At times I have continued to fish the smaller fish hot spot in hopes of some better. Other times I have moved and not gotten another bite the rest of the day. What do you do? Go search for better fish or enjoy the day even tho the fish are small.
(I enjoy it either way but sometimes wonder if the lunker is just over there).

If it's me I don't mind catching. Especially with winters the way they have been and we can only get on a couple days a year I say go for the dinks ;D

I'll mix it up. If they're dinks, I'll move off and look for larger fish, but if I don't get anything, I'll return to the dinks.

If changing lures doesn't result in bigger fish, I'll move to a different spot. If I take someone new to ice fishing, I would stay longer so they can enjoy catching fish, even if they are small.

Keep catching the small ones till only the big ones are left.
Fish lower and lower- big ones are usually hanging out on the bottom of the pack.

Hard to leave a hot bite for bigger fish.
