I fished two tournaments this past weekend at Buckeye Lake.
The first was a open which had 95 boats. The bite was very tuff to say the least. I caught 3 bass for a total weight of 5.47 and finished 15 out of 92 boats and we got our money back. My partner in the front of the boat never received a bite. Caught one on a All Terrain Jig, one on a Senko and one on a crankbait.
The second tournament we fished in a was a local tournament series event which had 38 boats. This time we caught five fish and We did catch the big bass of the event and won $280 and finished fifth for another $200. We caught them all on a All Terrain Jig but the big one came on a spinnerbait.
There is a open again on Buckeye on Saturday so we are going to give it another go.
