Went to Chip on Sun night from 4 -10 pm. Trudged thru 11 inch of snow off the beach to the deep hole on the nw end. 21 fow. Fish were all over the water column. From 2 foot under ice to bottom. Bite was slow but they were there in full force. Managed to pick 8 small crappie. 2 on Minnie's, 3 on a white jig, 2 on black 1 on char. Overall perfect night. SW wind. Warm 25 degrees, and good Moon light. Thought for sure we would light them up. Good times. Mad props to the dudes sitting around a campfire enjoying adult beverages. Not a bad way to enjoy a nice winter Sunday evening.
Tight lines.
