Ice fishing season is getting closer!  Saw the first snow flakes of the winter this morning in Akron.  ;D :o  Also my order from sportsman's direct is scheduled to arrive today.  Palm rods should be in there!  Great day! !

No flakes here in Xenia, just frost, but it is still a good sign of things to come.

yea man cold and windy in the falls also, snow flakes pretty good for a bit. glad I put my ice gear together when it was warm.  ;D
the time you spend fishing cannot be deducted from your life...

You have to love these temperatures. I'm thinking about checking alums docks for boats. They have to be getting the boats out this weekend. Last weekend it was still full.

Had a little snow here in Warren, Just enough to cover roofs and branches .  Wifey ordered me a CGI reel and hot sauce reel lube for my birthday!!!!  Cant wait!!!!  C'mon ice!!!!!

This nip in the air feels great. It snowed very briefly Saturday morning at my sons cross country meet. Put a smile on my face.  I'm looking forward to Alum on Nov.1st

Sure does!  Now I want one.  ;D  Got the shanty loaded over the weekend. All I need now is line on a few rods and I'll be ready for ice!

Some of the fellas on IFO really gave it a great review with the exception that the drag needs cleaned up and lubed... Comparable to reels costing twice as much. Looking forward to trying it.  I'll report once I get it
