Buckeye ice is no longer safe. Guys went through  near the shore and a spud bar goes thru 5" in one shot.

Stay off the ice for now and hope for colder weather.

Amen to that. Glad we all made it in safely. After seeing two people go through the ice near shore, we made the right choice to come in before dark.

I left at 3:30pm and the ice was getting dodgy near the shore. Big cracks and "springs" appearing when you walked near them. I called back to let folks know. Glad everyone got off the ice ok.....well maybe with wet feet.....

I was surprised this morning when I read the posts. It was melting that the edges but not too bad when I left....amazing what 2 hours can do....

Amazing how long it takes to make ice and how short of time it takes to deteriorate. Hope we get a 2nd round of ice. If not, let it warm up and stay warm so we can the boats out. The tween times make me crazy. At least I can find some docks to wet my appetite.
