The lake is still open from North Bay to the fishing pier East of the sail boat club. DON'T drive down to that pier today!!!! You may not get back up, I almost didn't. Imagine that phone call to my wife. LOL. I punched a few holes near the beach (wanted to play with my new toy- Ice Master adapter for my drill and auger- worked great, but still in test mode) in 1 ft of water and the ice was 2-3" thick but crappy. Going to be a awhile yet.
