The bite here has been awful slowfor the last week. Made a trip to Iowa to introduce a young couple I know to hard water fishing, we went to brushy creek in north central Ia the ice was clear 12 - 15 inches thick, the water was so clear I could see the camera from the top of the hole in 12 fow but no fish moved to 22 fow and had a beautiful clear picture of amazing stucture and crappie perch gill and 1 huge northern. We fished for 8 hrs and landed 3 gills between us I threw everything I had at them , the bite was the same for everyone on the lake I talked to. going out late today to change our tactics and go after some eyes and sauger good luck to everyone be safe and Please teach a child to fish Dave
