It'll still make ice if it's below freezing at night. It's colder longer than it's warmer. It's cold and dark for hours, but the high only lasts for a hour at most. As long as it's below freezing at night, even a day or 2 at 40-45 won't kill the ice. There's no rain in the forecast, so the lake water temps won't rise.
