Took the boat out for the first time this spring.  Everything worked flawlessly, both motors started on first turn of the key!  Fishing was ok.  Didn't boat any bass, but lost a nice one.  Wasn't really fishing as much as trying out the new equipment I added in the offseason.  Got 6 new rod and reel setups for various techniques and was getting the feel for them.  Also getting a feel for some new lures I added to the arsonal.  Got some zero gravity jigs that fall a foot every 2.5 seconds.  They'll be deadly.  Also tried out the Alabama rig, which is what I lost the fish on.  Water was 54-57 degrees.  Bass will be spawing in there next week.
