what areas on the north side had 2-3 inches of ice? have a friend that wants to go fishing. looking for a safe area to fish on sat. any info would be appreciated.

Long island first pull off. Stay within eyesight of the road and you should be safe. Yes caught fish,,, some fish were biting,,, mostly small gills and crappies but took about a dozen keepers home.

Checked lake to day 2guys fishing for saugeye at White Cottage and 3 guys first pull off long island. Then 1 guy in bay at bridge.

White Cottage is on curve at Russell Point where walking track starts. They were at long island bridge in the bay
