Looks like we may have dodged a bullet in NE Ohio with snowfall amounts. With forecast temps looks like we may be on Mogadore by Tuesday. I'll be spending the weekend cutting and splitting wood so I'm stocked up and can get out on the ice!!  Hope to see a lot of you out there Tuesday.  ;D

Checked palm red today. still a bit of junk ice in there but a bunch of open water.

Maybe not a bad thing. Better open water than rotted ice, it'll freeze better and faster.  Hoping area around CLR will be fishable Tuesday or Wednesday at latest. Looks like I'll be off a couple days next week!

After looking at the forecast, looks like it'll be Thursday for safe ice. Maybe Wednesday at some smaller ponds or shallow bays. We'll see:-/

Hopefully we get a real thick strong base so when that random warm week comes we have plenty of ice to spare! Goodluck to all those going out this week! I might bee out from 3-dark but i got school so probably a weekend deal

watched the pond where I work  go from open to almost completely covered yesterday,  most ice formed in a 3hr period (7-10am)  too bad it's posted.
