Hit a small acre plus pond this afternoon with my dad today that has monster fish in it.  Drilled all over had 3-4 inches of good ice, but never got a bite.  The fish are in there, I've got crappies over 16" before, and 2 over 14" this year in open water.  Put the Vex and camera in the holes and never even saw a fish, either they were buried in the weeds or we didn't drill in the right spots.  First time to be skunked on ice in that pond.  A tad bummed, left biting fish at Nimi.  We should've gone back to Nimi, but live and learn.  Here's a pic of the action, or lack thereof.

Wish I had a before and after pic to post of my pond. Had 4+ in of good ice last Thurs. and now it's all open water. Damn mother nature!  Bummed for sure!
