 I don't know about anyone else, but I'm tearing down all of the Christmas stuff now so that when the first safe ice hits, I can bolt to the nearest lake.

 . Should be soon , after the 1st . The lakes are icing up nicely , good hard clear ice .  It's a beautiful sight to behold .

I'm going to check Nimi and Mogadore Monday. If no safe ice, I'll be fishing Friday morning after my eye doctor appointment.

been wanting to try nimi,where's a good starting place? never fished it before and are there eyes still in there?

For first ice parking lot c-5 is a good bet. Yes there are eyes in there, but are tougher to find. The ice has to be on longer to get to the eyes, they're in a little deeper water normally.
