looking to take my son on wednesday if ice is good--have never been to mogadore and just loooking for some bluegill action---i printed the map any advice on where to go with good first ice then fish??  anything would be appreciated---thanks

Congress lake road will ice up first and is a good place to start. Parking areas north and south of the causeway. Stay away from the causeway there is a pipe under the road that let's water through and ice will be thin there.

was there at noon today (29th) still locked up, had about an inch at congress dock, only open water I seen was under rt43 bridge, i'm gonna try wed's as well, will post conditions when I get there, what ever you do... DO NOT walk straight out from ramp toward's channel there's a marker on the causeway showing pipe location.

Thanks for the heads up and info--may wait till i see people and walk out with them--if its not 4 inches i doubt ill take him---not worth the risk---thanks again
