Im not so sure my high production spots will be safe, but Im confident I'll find safe ice somewhere Saturday.

Nimi was hot right before the thaw at C-5. I would think that area should be safe by the weekend. Just use caution and SPUD!

Always do Slab. I have a 17 yr old Son that travels the ice w/me. Gotta be that example.... Im sure he gets tired of hearing me lecture ice safety, but im hoping he'll hear my words when he starts to venture out w/out me.

Wasn't me but I want to get over there soon. Been on Nimi and Deer Creek mostly this season along with a few ponds.

Never fished Nimi. Id like to hit that someday. Its kinda hard to not fish around home. Deer Creek is maybe a 5 minute walk through the woods, and Berlin, or Walborn is just down the street.

I'm about 15 min from deer creek. I can walk to Westbranch from the house. 35 min from Nimi.
