I just saw this while looking at ice gear online. It's a spring bobber rod that has a retractible tip made of titanium. It looks like a really cool design if it doesn't clog up with ice. I'm going to order one and try it soon as I can find a site selling them. Here's a link to a pic and blog on it.

I just found one and ordered the 23" ultralight on marinegeneral.com.

now I have seen it all  ;D  a fishing rod / fish attracter    8)   .   hope ya catch lots on it slab, we need all the help we can get. :P hahahah
the time you spend fishing cannot be deducted from your life...
