Went to some of my spots today and it was a bust.  Marked a lot of fish, but bite was slow, which I thought might happen after the cool down. Managed a few nice ones but most were small fish. Had a bit of excitement when my rod started peeling line and I thought I had another monster bass hooked, but alas after a 5 minute battle what ends up on the ice but a carp!  It hit my jig 5 foot of the bottom while pounding for crappies. Screwiest way I've ever got a carp thru the ice.

holy carp batman, I never have caught carp thru the ice , hope your not starting a trend  :P   
the time you spend fishing cannot be deducted from your life...
