I'm gonna try another spot tomorrow, yes another spot. The area we are going I have fished in the past and caught dandy 14" crappie threw the ice, but never targeted any other species. I'm gonna throw everything in the box at them and see what's there. Last time I fished it with Pig Puncher a few years back, it was so loaded with shad we couldn't see our lures let alone a fish come in on our vexs, but managed a couple nice crappie. I will post how we do when we get off the ice. I know I can go to Buckeye and catch some eyes, but I can't stop looking for fish on Alum, it has become a mission, almost an addiction.
