Thinkin Crane Creek for Saturday... any reports?

After a lot of consideration, I think we are going to make our first trip to Erie be at Crane Creek.  The reports I got say that the ice is a bit smoother to take a wheeled trailer out on (used to haul my son and our gear). 

Any fish reports from this area would be greatly appreciated.  THANKS

Fish bit good this morning but also a lot of people stuggled. If your not catching keep moving. Give each spot 45min max

So how did your adventure go with your son?

Was all packed up to go and decided at last minute to wait until next Saturday. Hunter (my son) was quite devastated.  Felt a little unprepared and the snow was coming down HARD here.  Going to take some time and get a few more things. Really want to find a reasonably priced power auger. Might try the 18V cordless drill conversion option.  Getting really pumped up!
