I wanted to say thanks to all of your input on different flashers, but in the end I stayed with a vex. I am really liking this unit. Once agian thanks for all of the input.

I just upgraded from the FL8SE to the FLX 28 this year. So far, I love it. Only been out with it twice and still learning what I can do with it as compared to the FL8.  Really like the split screen and zoom.

I'm planning to go from FL8 to FL28 in the off season.....nice unit!

I bought mine mid season last year, it's great. I like seeing the fish down in the mud on the bottom.

As a walleye guy, I like the bottom zoom on the Vex and the Flx 28 is a great unit, with the automatic depth and digital readout of depth, great features for sure. Vexilars are great flashers and very reliable.
