hit the lake today , saw quite a few guys on Long island, parking will be an issue as the weekend comes in. I got to hit my favorite spot this afternoon, saw 1 guy have a 3lb eye and they caught 7 more all were 14.5" , we marked fish all day and followed every color we dumped on them but didn't produce much of anything, a couple tight lines was about it. The water was milky stained with zero visibility , they caught all their eyes on purple. I didn't check moundwood today but yesterday it was still open up front and so was walnut Island out front as of noon yesterday.

I'm so jealous of you getting out while I'm at work. Just kidding I know you will be dragging them out soon. I will be up Saturday mid morning.

somewhere around 1-2" , just enough to cover the ice and get all the sleds out, I couldn't see for sure but it sounded like the guys around long island and pony island had 1 sled out there creating havoc all around them :P

What kind of ice thickness were you seeing? I will probably still use my spud bar, but just wondering.
