Lots of people fish Long Island this time of year. It is off 117 north of Huntsville. You will be able to tell where to park, there will be plenty of vehicles already there. Depends on what I am wanting to catch desides which what side I go on.

There are a few different areas depending on the ice. The mouth of Blackhawk channel is one of the areas. Late February we fish paradise point. I can't tell all of the areas.

Yes they still use vibes on the ice. Also spoons like swedish pimples and jigging raps work well. Unfortunately the spots I've done well on eyes are the areas of the lake that have current and they may not be safe yet.  I'm headed up for the first time this year on sat. So I can't give any current info. Good luck.

And come on bobby, give us all your spots ;D I'll keep em warm for you.

Am going today and give it a go. If fishing is fair to good or if I at least mark decent today, I will go back tomorrow. If it is a bust today, I may go to Buckeye tomorrow. Only time will tell.
