Did a drive by today and found about 60% iced over. Ice is just junk skim, nothing good with open pockets all over. But a good cold snap with no wind to open it back up and we might be able to fish it yet this ice season. Deer Creek actually looked better in terms of shore ice and ice formation. But there was ice over the deeper water here and the shallows were open. A good freeze and we could be on in a few days here. Looks like we'll get 1 more opportunity to ice fish yet this year.
