I know you always check your own ice, but do you think there is a chance of good ice (4+) by Friday? I live about an hour away and have Friday off, wanted to get on some hard water. If not Ill hit some docks somewhere for slabs.

Anybody checked buckeye ice yet? I was hoping to get out Friday as well but don't want to drive an hour and find out it's not fishable.
