I plan on hitting galena cove this afternoon and evening if the ice is good.  I'm going to bring my shanty( shappell DX3000).  If ya see me out stop and say hi.

SLOW day/night.  Ended up with one dink gill, 3 dink crappies, and a small bass.  The vex was lit up and they weren't biting so I put on a vibe and snagged one of the fish, it was a 4" shad.  Too many shad to use the vex and nothing was in there eating them.  Ice was 5" clear plus 2" of crap ice.

Thanks for the report.Out of commission for a few days pulled muscle in back.went to docs yesterday.should be good as new in couple of days

I just used the pulloffs.  They weren't too bad, but did have snow plowed snow there as well that I had to run over.  4 wheel is a must.

Don't know where to park - thinking may not be able to go b/c I have a Mazda 6i no parking means no fishing.

same boat here i have a truck but it is only 2 wheel drive, may take a shovel and dig it out enough to park not sure though anyone else planning on going fri or sat?

with the misq. tournament cancelled I may have to go localy,so if any one would like to go but is worried about parking I live 5 mins from galena, you can park in my driveway and I will drive my truck, i shouldn't have any trouble getting out, haven't yet. pm me the day your planning on going and I'll give you directions.
