Wish the wind would give us a break. The temps are low enough to make ice but the high winds are impeding the process.If the wind doesn't stop, walking on Indian next weekend looks doubtful.

I read somewhere that once a lake is frozen the wind actually speeds up ice formation. But we definitely need the wind to die off for a day or two to get started.
