Saugeye bite
« on: October 31, 2017, 10:15:43 PM »

Saugeye are starting to bite from the bank. I caught 4 Sunday 16.5-19" fishing at paradise. Should have had a limit but I didn't dress warm enough to concentrate. Bite was mixed between slamming it to slightly moving the rod tip.

Were you using minnows near the bottom?

Yes, I use my homemade crappie rig with bass minnows. I will be back up Sunday, be at dock tournament Saturday. Like I said pay attention to the rod tip, some are light bites.
