Grand Lake Ice Not Looking Good 1-5-2021

Lots of open water and rotten ice on grand lake st marys right now.  It is not looking good for the 2nd season in a row.  Forecast not looking promising either.  Don't shoot the messenger!  I apologize for the poor quality picture, not much light when i got home.  Safety island in the background.

Yea Toad,  I just went through all my ice gear, put new line on all my reels, oiled/greased them up, cleaned up my tackle, charged all my batteries and then loaded it up in my Jeep..... now looking at the weather forecast, I might have waisted my time, we may have ice for a day or so but the future isn't looking too bright

I saw you got out on the ice.  I am planning on hitting loramie tomorrow.  If it does not go well, back home to GLSM to give it a try.  Then packing the gear away unless I can get out a day or two during the week.  Forecast not looking good.
