Looking to hopefully get out this weekend and want to hit Mogadore. Would be the first time out on it - anyone recommend where to start out (pending ice conditions)? Thanks

Ticknor rd ramp. Was there last Saturday and we were on 4 inches of ice. Get there early as lot fills up fast. Last Saturday there was 25 shanties and a few bucket guys by 0900 and stayed like that all day.

Only 3 places that MIGHT be ok:

Ticknor Rd Boat Launch & Parking Lot
Congress Lake Rd
Palm & Saxe Rd

If none of those options sound good to you, Nimi has good ice off the south main boat ramp. Fish this morning and did really well along there.

Anyone been off 43 by the boat ramp ?

I was there yesterday for an hour or so 15 feet off the Tdock. The ice way wayyy thin and uncomfortable 1.5-2” at best. Nobody else there.

I was also at ticknor yesterday had good clear ice 3.5-4”  out in the channel 20fow .  Caught a few perch saw around 15 shacks scattered about .

Mogadore Report
Wedsnesday 2/2/21

The stampede at Tucknor Rd finally dwindled to a half dozen today.
2 guys trekked all the way to the Lansinger Rd Booat Dock.
3 guys off Congress Lake Rd EAST.
Congress Lake Rd WEST is still open.
Nobody at the Power Lines near the dam
Nobody off 43 Boat House or 43 WEST
