Old Dutchman at Hoover

I want to thank Old Ducthman Bait & Tackle for sponsoring the Hoover board.

Old Dutchman is the only bait store on Hoover that stays open all year long. They carry a lot of ice fishing gear. They carry Vibe's, Jiggin Rapalla's, Ice Jigs,Augers, Mora and lazer blade replacements, tip ups and plastics for your jigs.

we have been catching saugeye at the first bridge off the rocks using smith wicks and suspended rapalas

Was at Old Dutchman today. I never knew that Hoover was 60 feet deep in spots near the dam. That is crazy deep. It's for this reason and the fact that there is always a sustained current that ice fishing is not safe on Hoover. People that do ice fish stick to mostly the inlets.
