vexilar vs. showdown

has any one used a showdown fish finder? if so what are the pro's and con's vs. a vexilar

I have not used a show down but from watching them on tv and seeing posts on other sites i do not think they are compariable. The vex is proven and has 3 colors to determin the fish size. The larger the red mark the bigger the fish. The show down looks like it is all in a grey scale. It would be nice to do a on the water comparison.

whats a vex?? its been so long since i've used mine i forget what they are, if only dave would return mine, the sad part is i still out fish him without one.....
