DUCKS AND GEESE ARE SLIDING ON THE ICE AND WADING IN POOLS OF MELTED ICE ON THE LAKE. THERE ARE OPEN AREAS WHERE HOME OWNERS ARE USING AERATORS. THESE ARE USUALLY MARKED BY LOTS OF GEESE CONGREGATED. THE LAKE IS LOW BELOW NORMAL POOL (AS MEASURED AT THE SPILLWAY). VISIBILITY IS 9 MILES. THE BAROMETER IS 29.84 °F AND FALLING. IT IS CLOUDY WITH PERIODS OF DRIZZLE.

Please remember that lake conditions change quickly. It can be very different in the late afternoon than it was in the morning. Know that anytime you are on the you are there at your own risk.
