Some one threw a cell phone out onto a frozen pond at a local park in CO. A 10 year old boy went out onto the ice to retrieve it and wound up going through. An off duty trooper was there with his family and acted quickly enough to save the boy's life.
If it's at all possible I'd like to have as many of you that can make it present at Kids' Day on Indian Lake. Ice Safety is the #1 Goal of the event. Our children are too important to allow this sort of thing to happen, especially if we can do something to prevent it.
