Schooley Reels

Im looking for the schooley reels that had the spring under the drag nut to give it decent drag. maybe they still come with them as i havent bought them in years and the last few i got were knock offs that didnt have them. I dont want or need the rod as they are going to go on some better rods that I have. Any info on them would be helpful as I have about 10 hrs in research on google already and just cant find them. Thanks for your help

That is awsome to hear that there still being made. I need (want) 6 of them. Plan on puting 3 on rods and 3 on the wall in my shop for backups. If you could ask if they ship as WI is a bit of a drive for me. But..... if I drive up to get them I may be able to get on the ice one last time.lol. Im not sure if the wife would like that to much as were getting ready for our trip to Key West. Lots of thing to take of before we go down for 4 to 5 weeks. I will also call stinks to see if they have them. Im not in cleveland to much to Ill have to see if they ship also. Thank You guys for your help

I found your springs if you still need some they are similar to faucet springs. The ones I found are a little smaller but still work. If you interested pm me your address and ill send them to you.
