Fished the docks last night 12/8 from about 4:30 till 7:30 or so.  Only had two bites and they were very weak and didn't even take the bait.  Didn't mark many fish until dark when I had my lantern on and then they were only bait fish.  The bait fish I saw on the surface were different than I have seen up there previously.  They were 4 or so inches long but didn't look thick.  They came up into the light once I turned the lantern on.  I guess the crappie could have been way up high and I just didn't mark them.  The water clarity was horrible with the jig disappearing after the first couple of inches.  I used both waxies and minnow tipped jigs.
