owned and used the x67c for several yrs now.....you will not be disappointed
with it, far better than the fl-8 in terms of features/usefulness. But with that said if you fishing blind anything is better than that!
I'm waiting ever patiently for my Marcum lx-7 to arrive.........

I've got the Vexilar FL-18.  Great unit.  Would highly recommend it to anyone.  Never used the other products, but heard good things about them.  Only thing I would say is if you're spending the money for a unit make sure of 2 things: 1) it has a sensitive manually adjustable gain (all pertty much do) so you can see your lure clearly, and 2) it has a zoom/bottom locking feature.  You'll love it and it's worth the extra money.  But if your unit has bottom lock AND auto zoom, ALWAYS use the auto zoom feature for ice fishing!!  Bottom lock is for open water trolling and won't read the bottom as well stationary as auto zoom will.

all the ice units work well. it is all about personal preference. like slabslayer i have the fl-18 vex. i love the zoom feature on it. it only zooms in on the bottom 6 ft. while some of the other units feature an adjustable zoom to zoom in at different depths. figure out which features fit your needs and go from there.
