Wondering if I'm the only one out there who's tried the crappie candle.  Can't imagine I'm the only one out here who's used it.  I think it does improve the bite at low light and dark.  During the day, not really notice a difference.  It helps to activate glow lures as well.  Also the light draws in curious fish to your offering in low/no light conditions.  It's also nice because it attaches right to your line, (you can see the lure at the bottom of the pic) and gives you many hours run-time on the same little batteries you use for the night bobby.  Which is nice, you can pick those batteries up cheap anywhere.  It's also adjustable, you can put it near your lure or higher up on your line.

Your motto must be: "He who dies with the most toys, wins" ;D  LOL... What other toys do you have?? If I had a shelter and stayed out for the night bite, I might try something like that! :)

They work quite well.  But with their wetght, can't use them on a light action panfish rod.  Need a med-lite or med.  But it doesn't matter, you still see and feel the bite.  Love it for nite fishing.

I got them online.  I've never seen them around here.  I ordered them off their website.  It's crappicandle.com.  They're worth it for night slab fishin.  Also work from the boat at night too.
