Tried to get on this morning after I finished up at Mosquito.  Ice around the edges was thin, 1-1 1/2 inches.  Spud went thru on 1 hit.  The entire edge was like this all 3 places I checked.  The ice out farther looked a lot better, but I couldn't get to it.  Entire lake is locked in, but I think the warm weather this weekend is going to hurt us.  Arctic cold coming behind it though, but looks like it'll be another week or 2 before Deer Creek's ready.  A week of arctic cold and we'll be on Deer Creek.  The rain and warmth will get rid of the bad spots where the snow sat.  Now we need rain, followed by brutal cold with NO SNOW!!!!
