It's 0135 and 27 degrees out and does it ever feel nice. I like the temps that are in the 10 day forcast but will wait to see if they come true or not.

Yeah, the few hours after work on the hard water wasn't enough.  I'm hoping we have ice soon!

I know    few hrs arter wofk isnt enough. I went to 1st shift from 2nd  and i tell u what i miss the whole morning to fish b 4 work. 2 hrs after leaves lil time to travel and with bigger drinks not having good enough ice to hit that leaves ponds. atleast the ice is gettn chippd and lines r gettn wet thanks to ponds. lol but it was an even trade i get to spend more time with the family and found out we r expectn another lil icer. ill have 2 icers in no time

My guess small 1-5 acre ponds will be safe come the 25th in North Ohio.

So next weekend hopefully it will start.

Icefishing is one of my favorite things to do and 1/36th of my estimated life has passed by since Ive been out there. ... (feb 2011)

I have a 5 year old and 8 year old icer.  The five year old loves to bait the hook and take the fish off the hook and my 8 year old has to have a sports game or sports talk on the radio when he fishes.

On those 1-5 acre ponds u know it they will def b ready by the 25th im hoping lil soonr. just got permission 4 a 2 acre pond thats 6ft deep max and managed 4 bass and gills can`t wait to get some butterballs on the hard top. Thats a great idea to take something  of the childs interest to help entertain. Ive been talkn around to buddies and they pretty much say the same. Come on cold spell seems like its taking its sweet time to get here cause we all want it so bad. LOL
